High drama erupted in Punjab as police chased Khalistani sympathiser, Amritpal Singh. Punjab police launched a major operation to arrest him, but the self-styled Sikh preacher managed to give them a slip. As police launched a statewide hunt for him, the internet was snapped and NIhangs staged a massive protest in support of him. So far, Punjab police have detained 78 people in connection to the case.
