Honda: India-made Honda Unicorn 160 launched in Nigeria: Costs twice the price.

Honda Motorcycles has launched the Indian made Unicorn 160 motorcycle in Nigeria. The bike has been priced at NGN 14,00,000 (approximately Rs 2.51 lakh at current exchange rates). The bike is manufactured in India and then imported to Nigerian markets, Honda is offering the bike in imperial red metallic, mat axis grey metallic, pearl igneous black, and pearl amazing white colour options.
Although you’d expect the bike to be same, Honda has made some minor changes to the Unicorn. The bike gets redesigned front facia which looks similar SP125. The bike gets halogen headlamps with halogen indicators, single piece seat and grab rail.
The bike gets conventional USD front forks at front and a monoshock suspension setup at the rear. The bike gets alloy wheels with tubeless tyres and braking duties are taken care by single front disc and rear drum brake setup. Features include a semi digital instrument cluster and ABS.
The bike is powered by the same single cylinder 162 cc engine which puts out 12.7 bhp of power and 14 Nm of torque. The engine comes paired with a 5-speed manual.
