Lexus India announced several mid-life upgrades for its ES 300H luxury sedan on October 11. While the minor tweaks are mainly focused to comfort and convenience features in the ES 300H, the exterior design remains unchanged for the most apart with the exception of a new Lexus Emblem on the front grill and the tail gate. The ES 300H is the automaker’s most successful model in India and is known for its comfortable ride, refinement and the renowned self-charging hybrid powertrain.

For 2022, Lexus has now increased the amount of storage space around the centre console and added extra space on the inside. The luxury sedan now gets Lexus dynamic voice recognition feature and hands-free operation of the trunk. In addition to this, the ES 300H gets an upgraded infotainment touchscreen that supports wireless Apple Car Play and wired Android Auto as standard.
Speaking on the minor tweaks, Mr. Naveen Soni, President, Lexus India said, “The new enhanced ES will surely captivate our luxury consumers with newer technology and design by integrating elements of elegance and craftmanship that will take us ahead in our attempt to providing the amazing Lexus experience”.

With the upgrades, Lexus has also slightly bumped the prices for the two variants of the ES 300H on offer. The Exquisite variant now costs Rs 59.71 lakh (ex-showroom) with a Rs 21,000 hike over the earlier version and a Rs 31,000 hike for the Luxury variant at Rs 65.81 lakh (ex-showroom).
