Reportedly, the caller abused Santokh on the phone before telling him that he’d kill him at his home before Diwali. Santokh has filed a police complaint. This is not the first time that Shehnaaz’ father has received a death threat. He has also been attacked before.
On 25th December 2021, Shehnaaz’ father was attacked by two men after he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was fired at by the unidentified persons. The incident happened when he had stopped on his way from Amritsar to Beas.
During the inspection, it was found that the attacker who tried to shoot him was from Amritsar. Santokh shared that his bodyguards had to go to the washroom and so he stopped his car near Gurdaspuria dhaba.
Reportedly, four gunshots were fired which hit his car. The attackers fled soon after Santokh’s gunmen rushed to save him.
