VARANASI: Ahead of Union home minister Amit Shah’s mega show at ‘Loknayak’ Jayprakash Narayan’s birthplace at Sitabdiara on UP-Bihar border in Ballia district on the occasion of his 120th birth anniversary on October 11, UP BJP chief Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary camped in Ballia on Friday to take stock of preparations.
Apart from checking the venue, Chaudhary also held series of meeting with party cadres to discuss the issues related to its preparations, organisational and also forthcoming civic polls.
During a brief chat with reporters, BJP state chief taunted Congress for its on-going ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. “It was Congress era when country saw partition.
After it, no partition took place hence Congress should go to Peshawar, Karachi and Islamabad in Pakistan for holding this kind of yatra,” he said adding, before taking out this yatra, Congress should try to unite its family by ending infighting as it is evident in Rajasthan and other states.
Reacting over Shringar Gauri-Gyanvapi mosque case Chaudhary said that everybody should respect the orders and verdict of court in this case.
